Description: The India Future Foundation (IFF) published a report on offshore frauds conducted by Chinese Gambling Apps and Fraudulent Cryptocurrencies in India. To follow up on this , an in-depth consultation was conducted on the challenges facing India’s burgeoning online gaming sector, particularly focusing on cyber fraud and cryptocurrency. With the industry set to grow from $3.1 billion in 2023 to $6 billion by 2028, IFF identified vulnerabilities that could jeopardise this growth, especially the dual threats of cyberattacks and unregulated offshore gambling platforms.
